The H2020 TWEETHER Consortium is delighted to invite you to the Final Workshop of the TWEETHER Project on the first W-band Point to multipoint field trial.

The objective of the TWEETHER Project is to set a milestone in the millimetre wave technology by the realization of the first W-band (92-95GHz) Point to multi-Point (PmP) wireless communications system for distribution of high capacity digital services everywhere.

TWEETHER field trial will demonstrate state of the art performance of fixed wireless communications operating in the W-band in a PmP configuration comprising one transmission hub linking several terminals allocated at different distances within the campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

The partners of the TWEETHER consortium will introduce to participants the main technology breakthroughs achieved in the project. Travelling-wave tube (TWT) device samples developed in the project will be available on display.

The workshop will be concluded with the discussion on the results of the field trial and how 5G transport infrastructure benefits from TWEETHER technology. A visit to the TWEETHER equipment deployed on the field could be arranged upon demand.

The workshop is targeted to telecommunications operators, industry and academia. Participation is free of charge.
